This project was building the rollover effect on the navigation bar buttons. I started in Photoshop and created two images for each button, one image for the up state and one image for the down state. The way I created these was by making a thick horizontal line and applied the bevel and emboss effects, as well as a opaque gradient effect. Then I added a text layer for the buttons. Then I used the splice tool to separate the buttons out. From there I saved the images as the up state. Then I created a new layer exactly line the thick horizontal line, with the emboss and gradient effects flipped vertically. Then I saved this set of splices as the down state. Then in Dreamweaver, I created the rollover buttons by simply using the option in the Insert drop menu.
